Hi everyone! This is a cool and little project. I used a kind of stitch called Purl twist ring and it's not as difficult as you may think if you find the name intimidating. If you are a beginner, don't be affraid and push youself to the next level! Here is the pattern:
MATERIALS:
- 4mm Needles
- Yarn
- Button
ABBREVIATIONS:
- K: knit
- P: purl
- P2tog: purl 2 together
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cast on 28 stitches
- Row1: k (right side)
- Row2: p1, (p2tog, but do not slip off needle, then p the 1st st again and SL both sets off needle together), p1
- Row3: k
- Row4: p2, (p2tog, but do not slip off needle, then p the 1st st again and SL both sets off needle together), p2
- Repeat rows 1-4 until the piece measures about 25 cm.
- Bind off.
- Fold one end of the knitting up to create a
- pouch approximately 10cm deep.
- Make a loop with yarn in the middle of the top and sew a button in the front side right where the loop is when the pouch is closed.
And you're done!
