Hi everyone! Today I'm going to share with you this cute lacy hat pattern. As usual, you will use straight needles. Why always straight needles? I thing there are enough knitting hat and sock patterns that require double pointed needles/ circular needle on internet. However, it does not mean I will never post patterns that require these needles.

OK, here is the pattern:

MATERIALS:
_ 3.5mm needles
_ 3mm needles
_ Yarn weight: fine (sport)

TENSION:
20sts x 34rows = 10 x 10cm with 3mm needles
Size: medium

ABBREVIATIONS:
K: knit
K2tog: knit 2 together
P: purl
Psso: pass slipped stitch over
Sl: slip stitch
St(s): stitch(es)
St st: stockinette stitch
Yo: yarn over

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 106 sts
On 3mm needles, work in 2x2 rib for 6cm

Then work on 3.5mm needles in lace stitch:

Row2 and 4: p
Row3: k2, (k3, yo , sl1, k2tog , psso, yo) , k2

Repeat row 1 to 4 until piece measures 23cm
Then:
Row1: k2tog, (k10, yo , sl2, k2tog , psso ) , k10, yo , sl1, k2tog , psso = 90 sts
Row2: p

Cut yarn and thread through remaining sts and pull
Sew back seam and enjoy!
