Hi everyone, here is a two in one accessory: a scarf that you can use as a wrap. The perfect project for beginners who want to try the easiest dropped stitch.

SIZE :
·         Length : 155 cm
·         Wide: 25 cm
MATERIALS:
·         5.5mm needles
·         Yarn weight: light worsted
·         Number of ball: 2

TENSION:
·         18 st x 14 rows: 10 cm x 10 cm on 5.5 mm needles

ABBREVIATIONS:

INSTRUCTION:
‬DROP ‪STITCH‬ GARTER
  • Cast on 36sts
  • Row1,2: knit
  • Row3: k1, (yo twice,k1)
  • Row4: knit accross, dropping the yarn over as you go

Hi everyone! Today’s pattern is a skirt. It’s quite short, so if you’re not used to wearing mini skirt, wear it with leggings or tights.

MATERIALS:
·         2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4mm circular needles
·         Yarn weight: fingering

TENSION:
·         24 st x 32 rows: 10 cm x 10 cm on 3.5 mm needle

·         Pick up 136sts around the neckline using 3mm needles, work in 2x2 rib for 4 rows then cast off

Ok,  my first post of the year is a free knitting sock pattern. What makes this pattern special is that you will use regular straight needles. The pattern is very simple and you won't have difficulty knitting these socks. Find the colour that best suits you and begin!

Hi everyone!  As Christmas is coming, today I’m going to share this Santa Claus’ hat pattern with you. If you are a beginner, this pattern is perfect for you. This hat is very easy to make, you just need regular single pointed needles and know the basics (stockinette stitch, garter stitch and knit tow together).


MATERIALS:
  • 4.5mm needles
  • White and red Yarn
ABBREVIATIONS:
  • K: knit
  • K2tog: knit 2 together
  • St(s): stitch(es)
  • St st: stockinette stitch
INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Cast on 86sts using white yarn
  • K every row until piece measures 5cm (garter st)
  • Switch to red yarn, k2tog, k82,k2tog
  • 14cm st st
  • (k10, k2tog)
  • 5rows st st
  • (k9, k2tog)
  • 5rows st st
  • (k8, k2tog)
  • 5rows st st

  • With white yarn make  pom-pom and sew it to tip of the hat

Headband:

  • Cast on 8sts
  • Row1: k

  • Sew the ends together

Rose:

  • Cast on 193sts with 5mm needles
  • Row1: k1, *k2, lift 1st of these two over second*
  • Row2: k2t
  • Now use 3.5 needles
  • Row3 and 5: k
  • Row 4 and 6: p
  • Row 7: k1, k2t

Break off yarn and thread through rem sts and pull together. Twist ruffle around into a flower shape and secure using yarn still attached.



Materials: yarn, 4mm needles

ABBREVIATIONS:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Cast on 24sts
  • Row 1 and 2: k1, p1
  • Row 3 and 4: p1, k1
  • Repeat until piece measures 51 cm

  • Sew the ends together using a yarn needle.
Center band:

  • Cast on 8sts
  • When piece measures 8cm bind off.
  • Wraps it around the middle of the headband and sew the ends together.

MATERIALS : Straight needles size 4mm, yarn, needle, ribbons

STITCH: Garter st (knit every row)

INSTRUCTION:
  •  Cast on 30 sts and work in garter sts until piece measures 14cm.
  • Then, for the next 4 rows increase 1 st = 34 sts
  • Then, for the next 2 rows, increase 3sts = 40 sts
  • When piece measures 18cm, k2tog
  • Next row, k2tog and cast off
  • Fold and sew 
  • Use a 70 cm ribbon to tighten the slipper
