Hi everyone! Today
the pattern is a little bit more difficult than my previous ones. This is also
my first free pattern with lace stitch. These wrist warmers are very
stylish with the Mock Cables Rib, a mini cable stitch that doesn't require
cable needle. I found this stitch on craftsy and I totally fell in love with it!
MATERIALS:
_3mm needles
_Yarn: super fine (fingering, baby, sock)
_Yarn: super fine (fingering, baby, sock)
ABBREVIATIONS
- K:knit
- K2tog: knit 2 together
- P: purl
- Psso: pass slipped stitch over
- RS: right side
- Sl: slip
- St(s): stitch(es)
- St st: stockinette stitch
- WS: wrong side
- Yo: yarn over
STITCHES USED:
_ Lace stitch
_ st st
_ Mock Cables Rib:
Rows 1 and 3 (WS ): K2 , (P2 , K2)
Row 2: P 2, (knit into the second stitch on the left
needle, do NOT drop. Knit into the first stitch , as usual , drop BOTH stitches, P2)
Row 4: P 2, (K 2, P2)
_ Rib 2x2
_ st st
_ Mock Cables Rib:
Rows 1 and 3 (WS ): K2 , (P2 , K2)
Row 2: P 2, (knit into the second stitch on the left
needle, do NOT drop. Knit into the first stitch , as usual , drop BOTH stitches, P2)
Row 4: P 2, (K 2, P2)
_ Rib 2x2
INSTITUTIONS:
- Cast on 51sts, or if you have big hands cast on 58sts
- Row1: k (WS)
*Lace stitch
- Row2: k1,( sl, k1, psso, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, k2tog), k1
- Row3: p
- Repeat lace stitch 6 times
*St st
- Work st st until piece measures 7cm
- With the last row, k2tog once (RS)
- Work rib 2x2 until piece measures 13cm
- Work mock cables rib 2times
- Cast off
- With RS together, sew back seam
- Turn RS out
