Hi, everyone! Today I am going to share with you the pattern of this little doll. She is about 28cm height and not very difficult to make. This toy is actually inspired by another pattern (blank slate doll) but I changed few things. My doll is shorter and easier to make.
- 3 and 3.5mm needles
- Yarn
- K2tog: knit 2 together
- Kfb: knit forth and back
- St st: stockinette
- Cast on 4sts
- Row 1: Kfb around
- Row 2: (K1, kfb)
- Row 3: (K2, kfb)
- Row 4: (K3, kfb)
- Row 5: (k4, kfb)
- Row 6: (K5, kfb)
- Row 7: Knit.
- Row 8: (K6, kfb)
- Rows 9-24: Knit.
- Row 25: (K6, k2tog)
- Row 26: (K5, k2tog)
- Row 27: (K1, k2tog)
- Row 28: K2tog.
- Rows 29-31: Knit. –the neck
- Row 32: (Kfb) twice, k2, (kfb) twice, k2.
- Row 33: (Kfb, k2) 4 times.
- Row 34: Kfb, k4, kfb, k2, kfb, k4, kfb, k2.
- Rows 35-49: Knit,
- Row 50: K2tog, k4, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k4, k2tog, k2.
- Row 51: (K2tog, k2) 4 times. Stuff torso.
- Row 52: K2tog around.
- Cut yarn and thread throught rem sts
- Cast on 4sts.
- Row 1: Kfb every st
- Row 2: K3, kfb, k3, kfb.
- Row 3-6: Knit.
- Row 7: K3, k2tog, k3, k2tog. Stuff hands.
- Rows 8-22: Knit.
- Row 33: K2tog around
- Cut yarn and thread through remaining sts Pull tight to close opening and weave in ends
- Like arms but cast on 6sts
To add hair, cut the yarn wanted for hair color into pieces, slightly longer than twice the length of the desired hair length. Using a crochet hook, thread each piece through a stitch on the head and pull so that each half is even. Tie with a knot.
- Cast on 100sts
- Row1 : knit
- Row2 : knit 2sts, lift 1st of these two over 2nd
- Row3 : K2tog
- 8rows st st
- Bind off
- Cast on 16sts
- Row 1-4 : knit (garter st)
- Row 5-16 : st st
- Cast on 14sts for the next 2rows
- 10rows st st and cast off 14sts for the next 2rows
- Row31-33 : st st but begin by purling
- Bind off
- Cast on 50sts
- Row1-4: knit
- Bind off

Hey, I'm sorry for the question, but this doll is made in stockinette stitch, right? does that mean that after every knit-row is a purl-row?
