Hi! When the pattern says “once the piece measures 10 centimeters” does that mean 10 cms from the top of the work or from the edge of the ribbing?

Thank you for this very straight-forward & easy to follow pattern. I'm making both socks bit by bit, to make sure they are exactly the same. The heels are very easy the way you've written them, & I'm on to the foot of both socks already. Knitting up nice & quickly too. To answer that old one from Katie - 'when work measures' means the whole thing, unless otherwise stated, in patterns, so includes the ribbing in this case.

Im asking about the easy sock pattern>I am a beginner sock knitter> when you write: 's, work rib 1x1 (k1,p1) for 8rows' do you mean for the whole row of 58 stitches or the 15 stitches that have just been worked? I'm a bit confused by this.

Hi Holy I love this pattern as the socks are so comfortable to wear but I got a bit confused after the first 10cm where it says (heel)first side the bit work rib for 8 rows

In table of abbreviations you don’t include “TIL” pattern says k2 tog til. What does that mean?

Jen said...

Oops I meant tbl not in table of abbreviations

First part of heel says “purl all even rows” the second side of heel where you are purling odd rows do you knit all even rows?

Hi, Has anyone worn these? I'm wondering how comfortable these are with seam under what I'm assuming is the center, bottom of the foot.

I love this pattern, nice and easy. I hate to knit in the round so it is perfect. I have almost committed it to memory. I am on my third pair of socks. And one day I will be able to keep on of the pairs I make. Thank you

Hi thank you for this pattern I just love working with two needles.
Can you please tell me what the 't' stands for when beginning the toe decreases.
Row 1 line 2, and the same for the second line of every row till the end.
Thanks, Carole.
